wookieface
my problem is, that windows freezes, when System Idle Process is using 50%, and another proces (different processes) is using 50% of my cpu. it causes the toolbar in a window go white, and i cant clikck anything. i can still move my mouse around, but i can't click anything. I can use the alt+tab to cycle between windows, but i can't use the windows, and can't go to the desktop. it began approximatly a month ago, when i installed xgl for linux, but i don't know why it should be affected by it. i would appreciate any help. thanks. Scarecrow Man
How did you manage to install XGL on a Windows system.?.Now that's exactly what I was thinking.I recently had a problem with 100% processor usage as well, and was able to find out what was causing it, using ProcessExplorer from Sysinternals.http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...ssExplorer.mspxCan you tell us which process is causing the problems? Or perhaps unistall XGL (if possible?) Or, do a System Testore to a time before this happened.
