CaffeineJunkie Posted July 6, 2003 Report Share Posted July 6, 2003 Wow, first off, let me say, i'm an idiot.I was bored so i played around with File Types in Tools -> Folder Options, and I specified exe as an extension, hoping to set an icon for all applications so that windows will never have to search through a file to find it's icon again. Buuut, once i created the extension, exe's won't run anymore. I even deleted the extension, buut noo.. windows is asking me what file type is this and what program to run it. I'm in big trouble now.
