ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't know if the System File Checker will restore wallpaper images, but you can trysfc /scannowYou will need your Windows installation disk for this.
-pops-
Try a System Restore to a time before this loss occurred. You do not need your Windows CD to do this.I strongly suggest when you are back to normal that you make a backup of your system (and keep it up to date) in readiness for other attacks of vandalism on your computer and, of course, a safeguard against more serious computer failures.A standard XP background matching your latest description is called "Azul". avexhype
ya thats the one, Im trying another solution for this, but I also need the XP disk, do all computers come with one? -pops-
It is common for computers not to be supplied with a Windows disk nowadays. If you are attempting a repair then you may be able to borrow a disk. You have avoided my question about doing a System Restore. Have you tried this? It would be by far the simplest solution if you can do it.
