Scarecrow Man
I recently had to do a repair installation on an XP computer, afterwhich all my drivers were missing. I downloaded the drivers from the manufacturers website, and everything went fine, until I tried to connect to the internet.I had no network connections. And when I refreshed the folder, I recieved this warning:"The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve the list of adapters on your machine"I plugged the above error into google and came up with this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329441/It displayed a workaround. Of course, this did not work for me. I did some more reaserch and found that this can be caused by unregistered files, during the repair.I issued the following commands from a dos prompt (Start > Run > cmd)regsvr32 netshell.dllregsvr32 netcfgx.dllregsvr32 netman.dllPresto, network connections are being displayed, and I am now connected to the internet.Just thought I'd post this incase someone else had this problem.
