Scarecrow Man
This is going along with my other thread, located hereWhat a vague error. What could that possibly mean. Well, I had no idea.I plugged this error into google, and came up with this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315346/They tell me to find msiexec.exe, verify it's location, and then make sure my registry key is pointing towards it.Done. (not that this was wrong anyways)Then the same as earlier with the Network Connections, registering the service, but the same result. Nothing.I then decided that since I had done a repair installation, perhaps more than this has become corrupted. So I decided to download the IT Professional Version of SP2 (basically just the full file in 1 package), and transfer it over with my usb flash drive.I installed the SP2 update, and now all is well. Now to find out why my Add/Remove Programs list is empty after a repair installation.......
