legolas wood Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 HiThank you for reading my postI have had an application which works fine on my windows.I forced to uninstall it and install it again, but new installation failed because the application needs to register and start a service named OLService.I think once i made a mistake and delete the service using SC command.now when even i try to install the application it fail because it can not start the OLService after it install the service into windows.indeed the service is allwys diabled, i tried to enable it but i failed and i could not enable it.I tried and delete it and after a restart that service was gone, but the big problem is that even after that deletion, the service could not be installed correctly and it allways stay disabled.Is there any way that i kill/clean/enable/.... that service?for example changing the registry or what ever?thanksAfter several time installation and de Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
