becu55
I have just ordered a Chaintech GeForce 5200 and in the directions they tell you to uninstall the drivers (i uninstalled my onboard video drivers), shut down, install the card, attach the monitor to the card, and power on the computer. It says im supposed to be able to get a picture through the monitor, but this does not happen, and when i switched the plug back to the onboard port then a picture came through. Anyone know the solutions to this problem?
Scarecrow Man
It's a bit differen't for Onboard vs and older video card. You may need to tell your motherboard to use the AGP port as the primary display.Check with your motherboards owner's manual or manufacturer. Or, post your make / model in this thread and we will try to explain this a little better.
