AlanHo
Have you tried looking through the Outlook Help FilesThere seems to be a lot of information there - for example See here
babysun
Thanks Alan for your reply...Got the confirmation about the free service by hotmail.... The notice on that page directed by you says...NotesSupport for MSN and MSN Hotmail is not available in Outlook 2000 or earlier.Free MSN Hotmail accounts cannot be used with Outlook. That means it is available only for the premium members and not for the others. So now in this case how can I backup my mails from MSN Hotmail a/c. Thanks
AlanHo
I'm no expert - but what I do with the Hotmail messages I want to permanently save - is to forward them from Hotmail to my Blueyonder POP3 account. It is not much of a chore because there is not all that many I need to save. The only downside is the messages arrive in Outlook addressed from myself rather than the originator - so I file them in individual folders for each originator to enable me to find them easily in future.
