Windows Media Player 11

Recommended Posts

everytime i use wmp11 to play midi files, it seems to always to change my sw synth volume with it. when i open my volume control and wmp11 with a midi file, when i increase the volume, it increases the sw synth on my volume control. now this really isnt a problem, what the main problem is, whenever i pause or close wmp11, it brings the volume all the way down to zero. this messes it up for online midi, and when im using programs that use midi to work, such as a few games, as well as composing tools. It really annoys me to hafta repeatedly bring up the volume after using wmp11.

does any1 know if this is an option i can get rid of or fix?

thanks

.midi are not just media files, they are much more complicated > dont ask me how

but i recommend converting it to .mp3 [or something]

your problem could also involve the "Add volume-leveling values for all files" option when you import media/music files into your media library [i never used it, because i like my music the way it is!]
