SmokingMan
When I try to use a dialog in XP Pro, the entire dialog does not show, and of course it's not resizable. This started when I increased my resolution to 1024 x 768. I've uploaded a sceenshot to show the problem. Any ideas :(
-pops-
What happens if you revert to your original screen resolution? If it's OK at that, it indicates that the system isn't capable of rendering the new resolution. There could be a number of reasons for this - most beyond my understanding.
SmokingMan
I changed the resolution back to 800 x 600 and the problem went away. But there is a bit of a wrinkle here. When I changed again back to 1024 x 768 it worked fine. The problem seems to be in the DPI settings. While at the higher resolution, I had set the DPI settings to 110% to help my aged eyes read better. That seems to be where the problem originates. When I use the 96 DPI setting, dialogs display correctly. Anything larger than a 110% DPI setting is just too large. So unless someone has any ideas, I guess I'm just going to have to choose between the smaller font at the higher resolution or go back to 800 x 600. But the lower resolution just doesn't look right on a 20" monitor.
