dorem
Very frustrated..... I installed an HP webcam on my system. Everytime I plug it in, Photoshop Elements starts up!I cannot, for the life of me, get Photoshop Elements to dis associate itself. I've looked into the Photoshop elements menus, I've looked into the control panels to no avail.Anyone know how to do this?-Dore
-pops-
Which program do you want to operate the webcam with?If it came with its own software (I assume it did) then installing this should override and influence that Photoshop has on it.You should be able to choose the program that opens the webcam by going to Control Panel, click on Cameras & Scanners. RIGHT click on the webcam and click on Open With. You will be presented with a selection of programs which you can use. Be careful- some programs on the list might not be suitable. Click on the program you want to use, make sure you then click on Always Carry Out - - -
