Ken Posted January 13, 2007 Report Share Posted January 13, 2007 I removed a working module and cable from a Dell 2400 running XP and installed it in a Dell B110 running XP. The light doesn't flash on "boot up", "add hardware" can't find it, "my computer" doesn't show it, and "setup" says it is installed. Any ideas? -pops- Posted January 13, 2007 Report Share Posted January 13, 2007 The operating system disks supplied with Dell machines are model specific i.e. matched to the hardware contained in a particular machine.
