ddsdavey Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 I am having problems with my Pc and can currently only run it in safe mode and was hoping there might be some way i can run Nero 6 in safe mode?I have tried accessing Nero (in safe mode) in the normal fashion but with no success,am i asking the impossible???Thanx. It is designed as an aid to troubleshooting by loading up the basic operating conditions.If your computer will only function in safe mode, it indicates there is something seriously wrong with the machine which should be remedied.Rather than operate under conditions like this, it would be better to cure the problem. cozofdeath Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 In safe mode only essential drivers are loaded as you probably know, so that includes the cd-rom driver. You would probably have to load it manually or get selected startup files/services to run with safe mode? If you can do it via USB it would probably save you a lot of time. Coreper Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 if programs can run in safe mode completely depends on the program > some do, some dont [most dont]but there is another way to burn cd's in the safe mode [atleast, if you have Windows XP]most versions of it have a build-in cd-burn program [which actually is Roxio CD Creator > it also says that it is from Roxio, Inc.]try that [if you got it]if that doesnt work, you could try to search Google for a Safe-mode capable burn program [you could try Power MP3 WMA Converter, but i dont know if its Safe-mode capable] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
