How to save drivers?

I want to redo my laptop meaning format the HDD and re-install the OS. Is there a way to save all the drivers so that I can use them after redoing it. I understand the drivers are all stored somewhere on the laptop, but is there a way to know which files are used for which drivers?

I would like to save the drivers for the following:

1) Audio

2) Network Adapter

3) Display Adapter.

Thanks for your reply. I downloaded the program and tried to backup all the drivers. It was not successful. For several drivers it gave a error message saying "File not found" Can I still rely on what it did? Have you personally used to program to save all drivers and restore it after re-install of OS?

What I would do is download the drivers afresh from the manufacturers website into their own folder and burn them to a CD ready for installing on your re-done system.

This is always an option. My original post was meant for cases when you cannot download it from manufacturers website.

Also, wanted to know:

1) The drivers files are there on the system. They are all stored somewhere. There has to be a way to save them, I mean even if they are abailable from the manufacturers website, I would like to save it myself to get more understanding of where and how they are stored.
