andsome
Run the 98SE disc and select install. It will replace missing or corrupt files, but will not install another full copy over the top, even though it appears to take a long time. Guest phoenix22
In the future ...........if some old fellar like me (who has the brains to fix cars and aircraft).....develops a similar problem........this >IS< the cure .........and it is as simple as clicking the help button in IE6 going to control panel and click on add and remove Microsft Internet Explorer IE6 SP1 then .....repair.....all the missing downloaded program files, (update class, macromedia shock and flash), will be fixed after you reboot.....You do need to download and re-install the macro media players.....otherwise it's all in the repair function.........
