mac23
I know this is not the right place for this topic but the forum will not let me post in the support section. Anyways, I recently installed Fedora Core 6 (Linux OS) on my computer to try it out. I couldn't get it to run so I decided to put XP back on my computer. However when I try to boot from the XP cd it says it is checking hardware and then goes blank. No matter how long I wait nothing else happens. Any ideas? thanks
-pops-
Try doing a low level format of the drive that you are trying to install XP on.The easiest way to do a low level format is to use the facility proved by the drive manufacturer and will most likely be found on their web site.
