Jared Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 I built a system to run Vistas 64 bit, specs are AMD 64 x2 duel core 4600+, 2G ram, Asus Crosshair MOBO, Raided duel WD raptor 40 Gig drives, 1 80 Gig SATA drive for storage. Now the problem is that I can't get the system to see the 80G SATA HDD. It does not show up in the bios nor in the operating system. I have installed all drivers from the manufacturer and still a no go. Everything worked fine with XP. Anyone else having the same problems? Am I just doing something wrong? Alan2273 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 There are posts about your mobo on several forums, all are saying the Nvidia chipset is the problem as the Vista drivers that Nvidia released do not work properly, so it is just a case of waiting till they get there act together.
