presbp
My WinTV2000 application outputs recorded shows in mpeg-2 format but I have found that between Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 and Windows Movie Maker, Movie Maker is the best for cutting out commercials. But Movie Maker does not support mpeg-2. What is some good free (and legal) software to convert video files between formats?
y2khardtop
are you sure it won't import your mp2 stuff?? I've used MM with my moviestar recordings, and it will convert them to WMV or AVI no problem. There are some great inexpensive conversion programs, like Xilisofts, as well.
