When i get a email i have to click on the attachment and a new window opens then i gotta click on the next attachment and another new window opens and so on till i reach the original message. Is there a way to set outlook express to open all attachments the 1st time?

Hello billmik

I use Outlook, not Outlook Express, but I think they work similarly.

Have you tried pointing at the 'paper clip' attachment icon and doing a right-click? This will only open the attachment in a single email, so you would have to repeat the process for each incoming email.

Hope this might help. :)

If I understand your question correctly, I think it all depends on how they are sent, and there is nothing that you can do. I sometimes receive attachments that show as attachments, and at the same time they are already open beneath the rest of the message. I regularly get e mails from a friend and these are not already open, so I have to click the attachment, sometimes this works, but at other times I get a second window showing an attachment, and on occasions yet a third window before I can see the attachment. These are usually attachments that he has forwared o me, having received them originally from someone else. I hope all this is clear.
