Lamb Chop
I have just finished my trial with Zone Alarm full security centre and although I never did utilize the anti virus as I have Avast, now that it has turned off all the paid items and retracted to just the firewall, I have this nag shield and opening Security Centre it says that my Zone Alarm Anti Virus is switched off and my computer is unprotected.I have run my full scan of Avast, it is working and updated itself when I booted up as usual, I think actually it also tests the memory and start up items on booting up as something is scanning and I cant find anything else when I try Task Master - it shows "nutting" B) So after that long winded explanation --- how do I get the Windows Security Centre to recognise I do have anti virus running and that it was and has been running, since I never activated the Zone alarm portion etc.
Scarecrow Man
If your anti-virus is not supported by Windows Security Centre, just go into the Anti-Virus section, click 'Recomendations' and tell it you have a program you will monitor yourself.
