Panarchy
Every now and then, my computer resets by itself. I think it is because of Windows Update. How do I prevent windows update from restarting my computer? I want to stop it from happening on my XP PC and my Vista PC.Thanks in advanced,Panarchy

Panarchy
I'm not sure.Sometimes, like yesterday, I did it manually, (On vista Ultimate), so can you help me prevent Windows Update from being able to reset my computer? Maybe a registry key or something...
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Sorry, I don't know about Vista. Is there a Control Panel? Are there Security settings?I don't think there are many Vista experts here yet. Maybe you will have to become our Vista expert...?
Panarchy
Okay! I'll become your vista expert! I know all about it's features (and hidden ones), the only thing I don't know how to do may be impossible! That is stopping windows update from being able to restart my PC.:P Can you make either a new subgroup, and put me in it (Vista expert or something like that), or make me a subscriber/moderator/admin?Thanks in advanced,Panarchy
