Hi There,

I am running Win XP machine:

P4 - 3.2 GHz - 3 GB RAM - 4 HDs - 2 displays.

Recently I had to reinstall the Windows because of some file corruption, and need to repair it.

I reinstalled the WIN XP SP2 using an option without reformatting the drive, to keep my program settings.

I had some problems with the updates, but your tech helped me with that. But since the reinstallation

of the OS I still have some problems I can't resolve - and they are related to the installation.

When I try to click any Help button in the folder's menu bar, or if I try to get to

the System Informatin (Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information)

I receive always the same Error message:

Help and Support Error

Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running.

To fix this problem, start the service named 'Help and Support'.

I click OK and go to Computer Managment > Services and Applications > Services

and find 'Help and Support' sevice (the status is empty) and click START (right mouse click menu).

I receive another error message:

Services

Could not start Help and Support service on Local Computer.

Error 1083: The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service.

And now - what shall I do?

Can anybody help me?

Thanks,

JMK
