Don_Playboy Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 Hello all,Yes i am having a problem ever since i installed webroot spyware application on my pc.Well the thing is tht after i installed spysweeper i decided to uninstall it.And when i did,i reboot it the pc,and try to type in the ie and it freezes,i mean the cursor still blinks but the computer freezes,nothing moves not even the mouse,i tried everything and nothing.It evens freezes anywhere where i have to type something.Like when i go to start/run and try tp type it frezees.I mean i dont know why.I even tried a system restotore and nothing.Basically like i stated everywhere i try to type something like opn run/internet explorer it freezes.,Any recomendations*Edit* i am using my mac right now,since i can use the ie on my pc. Panarchy Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 type in the ie ?Completely uninstall Webroot Spysweeper. I had it about a year ago, and it hogged my resources. Slowing my computer down heaps.Then install CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/download/)First do the cleaning, then do the registry. Restart your computer. Now it should be fixed.
