Guest Nellie2
Hi Secure......... welcome to the forum :) I have moved your topic to the software board as it seemed more appropriate.I can't help you with your question really...... if I want to know how big a folder is I just right click on it and select properties. But that wont actually track folder size though.
Boris
Try .................. Treesize 1.7Freeware (mailware) from :-http://www.jam-software.com/software.shtmlTreeSize can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive and shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. You can expand this folder in Explorer-like style and you will see the size of every subfolder. Scanning is done in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize is working. The space, which is wasted by the file system can be displayed and the results can be printed in a report. TreeSize is Mailware for Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP.There's also a Pro version $
CrazyUser
I suggest You to try http://www.softmajor.com/aveselov/vfs/info.htmlIt will add abilite to view folder size for Windows Explorer. You don't need to run any additional utility.I'm think it is great.
