wamp Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 Specifically Civilization III on a boot camp partitioned imac using xp home sp2. At the very very end of a 3 disk install it crashes when searching for available memory or capacity or to that effect. The blue error/critical failure screen flashes so briefly I can't read the cause of the error, and then reboots. I'm not the most comp savvy person so detailed suggestions would be helpful. Raddy Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 If you're trying to get the full error message, what you can do is this (you need to be in classic view mode for this):Start > Settings > Control Panel > SystemClick on the "Advanced" tab and then click on "Settings" in the "Startup and Recovery" group. Uncheck the box that says "Automatic Restart" under the "System Failure" group.Now try and install your game. If the BSoD pops up, write down the information and see if you can't find anything about that particular error.(I apologize if this takes awhile to load; the forums don't seem to like the thumbnails from Photoamp) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
