nightmark
Hi,When I install windows updates, windows creates a temp folder with alot of numbers and letters (for a name) and does not delete them. I even have one on my computer that will not delete at all??? I have learned these are temp folders that windows should delete after the update. I have also learned it is safe to delete these folders. I have tried a file deleting progam that deletes files that are in use, but no luck with this one. Thanks for any feedback,Mark
trackrat
Have you tried deleting this file in safe mode.
Scarecrow Man
Windows Update files are safe to delete, but keep in mind that if you do delete them, the update can not be uninstalled if there is a problem with it.
cozofdeath
You may have to also restart.
