If I purchase recovery discs that are English (which I can do) does the product key still work? Or with Windows, is a product key linked to French only and therefore won't work on an English machine? Scarecrow Man Posted April 26, 2007 Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 The product key is restricted to the disc that it comes with, or in the case of a Volume Licence, the disc which is supplied with the volume licence.
