deeko Posted May 3, 2007 Report Share Posted May 3, 2007 Hi all.I have just switched mylaptop on to frind that it automatically goes into recovery mode. Why, i do not know.The problem is that i cannot afford to reinstall windows xp and format the hard drive as i have alot of files on it that i havent backed up. I understand that i can delete the windows directory, reinstall it and then all my files and folders will still be there.Can anyone help me with this process. then i can back everything up and then do a complete clean install.many thanksDerek Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
