Knally
I use Photoshop to edit RAW and jpeg images and images have always displayed identically on screen in Photoshop/Windows applications and printed as viewed.Just recently (I am unsure exactly when) the colour quality of images displayed in MS applications and printed are poor, (pale, lifeless) yet still rich in photoshop.I am wondering if the following update has caused this - MS05-036. As none of my other settings have been changed.I am desperate for a resolution as it has occurred suddenly - can anyone help please? Many Thanks!Knally
Irene
Welcome to the forum Knally. :) Could you possibly do a system restore, to a point when you know that things were working ok?
andsome
Could you try uninstalling the update to see if that rectifies the problem?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
MS05-036: "Vulnerability in Microsoft Color Management Module could allow remote code execution" - sounds likely the possible cause for your problem. Run a system restore, as Irene suggested, or uninstall update 901214 via Add/Remove Programs (check 'Show updates').
