Strange problem

Recommended Posts

Have you tried msconfig /startup, to see if it is started at boot up, if it is take the tick out of the box, click apply click OK then reboot your computer.

You will see a message, put a tick in the box and click OK.

To get to startup, click start, click run, in the box type msconfig, then select the startup tab.

It has something to do with you default editor for webpages, e-mails etc. After installing a product like Microsoft Office, it sets itself as the default for everything. If certain features were not installed fully the first time the installation was run, this box will appear asking for the source, so the installation can be completed.

Next time you see this screen, insert your disc and all should be well.
