AlanHo Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 12, 2007 I went to see an old friend last night - we hadn't met for a few months and he happened to mention that he bought a new DVD writer a few months back - but it was flaky and refused to write on dual layer media. I told him about my experience. He phoned me a few minutes ago to let me know that he popped into Maplins this morning, bought an 80 wire cable and all is now OK.I feel better now I know I am not the only one to fall for this problem.
