bigsquid
hi,everytime i start up my computer the found new hardware wizard starts. it lists the hardware as unknown. in device manager there is an unknown device in other devices marked with a yellow question mark and a yellow exclamation mark in a circle. i have tried uninstalling the unknown device in device manager but the wizard still starts up when i turn my computer on again. i haven't recently installed any new hardware and all my peripherals are fine. any help as to how i can get rid of this would be appreciated.cheersthe big squid
andsome
Just out of curiosity, do you normally leave any hardware such as printers , cameras, scanners etc, in the switched on mode when you close down? In other words when you switch on at the wall, are these pieces of hardware live before you switch on the computer?
