topj Posted July 12, 2007 Report Share Posted July 12, 2007 ok where do i start..my windows vista was on a 30 trial version,now its expired and its askin me for the product key and wont accept, so i found out i was suppose to install it the way i did and input the product key after i had vista installed to make it a full version, now i wanna do a clean install but i want to back up some files off the hard drive, but i cant access my vista, so can i back up files to a dvd on dos?thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can load ASPI drivers which can read a CD/DVD but cannot burn to it.You may want to try a LiveCD (usually Linux with NTFS capabilities built in) or a Windows PE (pre-installed environment) disc to access your files.http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
