Afonso
Hi,Recently I got this problem which may annoy everyone: when I want to switch to another app by clicking with the mouse on it at the task bar it just keeps flashing (blue-orange) and I have to press twice again, kind of minimize and maximize again to open the window. However if I use the ALT+Tab method it works perfectly.Does anyone know what's going on with this stuff? Thanks.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have seen this occasionally, especially when the system was under heavy load - many applications running with lots of memory and CPU usage. If this is the same in your case, I don't think there is much you can do to "solve" the problem.Anyway, I rarely switch apps with the mouse - Alt-Tab is much too convenient. CurlyWhirly
I didn't even know that you can switch applications using the Alt-Tab key combination I've just tried it out and I also find it very convenient. You learn something every day! Afonso
Early when I posted this issue and according to the windows' event logs there seemed to be an anti-virus running on the backgrond which might explain the 'over-load'.Thanks
