RESOLVED - BSOD on fresh build

Well, i finally got my new build up and running Windows XP pro 64-bit, and windows is running alright (on it right now :D). the problem occurs when i shut down the comp/restart....during system boot, it gets to the xp pro x64 loading screen and the lil bars go for a sec or 2 then it kinda hitches and the good ol BSOD pops up briefly but doesnt hang around long enough to read anything. system boots again and i get the "windows didnt start successfully last time" screen and if i choose start windows normally, sometimes it works others it BSOD, but if i choose start with last configuration, it works. Kinda puzzling to me... any help?

System specs:

When in a "go" condition, open Control Panel and click on System -> Advanced. That will take you to the Startup and Recovery page. Under System Failure, UNtick the Automatically restart box.

This should stop the computer shutting down when the BSOD appears and give you time to read what it says.

hehe i just did some searching and found my problem and fixed it in the last 5 mins (just got back from a BSOD free restart :D)

Turns out: STOP: 0x00000D1

nvata64.sys

was the error....and thats involving nVidia IDE driver conflicting with windows.

Solution: control panel -> add/remove programs -> nVidia drivers -> click "remove only the following" -> nVidia IDE Driver

after removal, restart - BSOD => :D
