If you have a spare PCI slot on your machine, probably the simplest procedure would be to install another set of USB ports. PCI USB cards are easily obtainable, simple to fit and not expensive. I would let you have it with pleasure except I would not be able to sell the keyboard/mouse without it. It came with a keyboard and mouse that independently have PS2 connectors on them which plug into the small box similar to your picture then a single USB lead goes to the PC.
