ntwknick Posted August 26, 2007 Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 Alright. I have stood by windows for a long time now. But this is just flipping ridiculous. I DONT WANT TO USE WINDOWS MAIL. But, from what it seems, its trying to MAKE me. I dont care if I cant get rid of it. I just want to be able to click on somebody's email address on a web page and have it bring me to yahoo.com or gmail to send a message THAT way. I dont WANT windows mail to come up. I've been trying to NOT use it for 2 days now. I'm using Firefox, if thats any help. You can't even USE Yahoo for windows mail! "Windows mail does not accept HTTP mail servers" THATS WHAT MOST PEOPLE USE. Irene Posted August 26, 2007 Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 In Internet Explorer, try going to: Tools - Internet Options - Go to the Programs Tab - There will be various drop-down menus - select the email option you require.
