I think you're OK, Irene. It's just Sygate still learning the ropes. That "critical" report usually comes when you haven't given specific permission for that application to do what it's doing.

No problem at all. I know how confusing some programs can be then they're first installed - especially if they are replacements for something else and act in a completely different way.

You will get used to it - as will your Sygate and you will hear from it only occasionally.
