So I was installing windows xp on a dell 4300, I was basically done when suddenly the monitor went black and said it can't display the content (dell E207WFP), anyways, I tried some other old 15" dell monitor lcd, same problem. I am repairing the installation now, but I have no idea how to fix the problem if I can't see the screen. I have other computers at my disposal, but since I have no idea how far along the setup is (it is close to done, I think just setting up the accounts left). Please Help!

It may be using an invalid refresh rate for your monitor or video card. If you have a CRT monitor you may want to try that, or even try a video card if you have one. At leas that way you can get in and set the refresh rate lower then test the original setup.

I find 60Hz - 70Hz is supported by 99% of hardware.
