nyctreeman Posted September 29, 2007 Report Share Posted September 29, 2007 Hi, I'm far from an IT, but I learn fast and I need help.Using Dell 3000 series with XP Home IE7 and occaisonally FirefoxMacAfee security suite Last couple of months....a blue screen or two with restart successfulbrowsers are sluggish, getting delayed key reactions when typing fast...etc.Ctrl/Alt/Del shows MCC Monitor exe running like a demon all the time!Suspect Rogue Miscreants!Checked out UNIBLUE free scan....came up with 492 registry problemsAnyone got a free fix or better idea for me?Very worried about spymals now.Help :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Boris Posted September 29, 2007 Report Share Posted September 29, 2007 I believe that mcc monitor.exe is a process installed alongside ArcSoft Media Card Drivers in your c:\Program Files\ArcSoft\Media Card Companion\ folder. This program monitors your media card reader to see if a supported media card type has been inserted. When it has, this file launches the Media Card Creator software. The program lets you preview, rename, transfer, print, and email all or selected images in one shot.
