Diskeeper suppose to work, but not the latest version, which does not support NT..What program will defragment disks in NT? We are looking for something very reliable and well tested. It first scans the disk collecting the locations and sizes of free areas. Then it determines where the file in question is located. Next, Contig decides whether the file can be optimized, based on free areas and the number of fragments the file currently consists of. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 I believe that Diskeeper (Lite) 7.0 will also run on NT4.You can also download the Intel Desktop Utilities (2.1.9.66) that contains Diskeeper (Lite) 9.0, which should also support NT4. (Download the "full version" from http://support.intel.com/design/motherbd/s...du/download.htm, then extract Diskeeper from the '3rdparty' folder.)
