Deanium
I recently got a new computer, which came preinstalled with Vista Home Premium. It's a 2GHz, 1024MB RAM. Seeing as we all know that Vista is a wee bit of a resource hog, it may look good but is a bit over-simplified to the point where previous windows users find it annoying, I was considering downgrading to XP Pro, as this would surely run faster given the resources. A few queries however, do you think all the hardware would be XP compatible? Surely if it is Vista compatitble XP should have no problems. And also, if I were to downgrade, any other methods than formatting the hard drive and clean installing XP you can think of?Cheers people.
