Apollo1020
I wonder, if I will buy a Windows XP CD - will it have a function of "restore"? What about Windows Vista? Thanks.
-pops-
The "System Restore" function of Windows ME, XP and Vista is a function of the operating system itself and not a separate facility on the original disk. There is a "Repair" function on the disk(s) to remedy corrupt files and suchlike but this is not the same as restore. To access System Restore in ME and XP (I assume it's similar in Vista), look on the Help & Support main page or under "System" in the Control Panel. Apollo1020
Yes, I think I've ment "repair", sorry. Thanks, that what I need to know. If there's a "repair" function on every Windows XP CD - it's good.P.S. Hope Windows Vista has the same.
