Vista license

i want to install vista on more than 1 computer but as i already have registered it on my main computer i get a message saying this code has already been used,i have a full retail version not OEM and i thought i could use it on upto 3 computers ?

PS i have a m2n32 sli premium mobo,according to manual if i were to update my bios and it goes wrong the data is recoverable ?

Unless you buy multiple licenses your retail copy can only be installed on one computer at a time.

As far as a BIOS update is concerned, I have the same board except it is the WiFi edition, and it has a crash free utility on the motherboard CD that allows you to restore a corrupted BIOS.

But unless you have a problem I would not even bother to update the BIOS.

If you are referring to the data on your hard drive that can be put into another computer to retrieve the data.

According to the box the mobo has a crash free bios cd so we have the same version so i dont have to worry .

PS i would never attempt to update the BIOS as i dont know what im doing

OEM and Retail versions are only usable once. Only a VLK (Volume License Key) can be used on multiple computers.
