-pops- Posted November 3, 2007 Report Share Posted November 3, 2007 Some programs make alterations and/or additions to the registry which only become active when the computer is rebooted.Similarly, when some things are removed (example a virus as well as programs) the machine has to be rebooted to delete from the registry.
