windowlicker Posted November 18, 2007 Report Share Posted November 18, 2007 hi. this my first post so apologies for any noobishness! to be honest i'm not even sure if this is the right place to ask for help!!recently, every time i start my PC i have a window pop up telling me "capi_worker module has encountered a problem and needs to close" (see picture).i have no idea what a capi worker module is or what to do about this. it doesnt seem to have had a detrimental affect on my PC but i would still like to try to fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated. Click Add HardwareClick NextClick Yes, I have already connected the hardwareScroll to the bottom of the listClick Add a new hardware deviceClick Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)Click Ports (Com & LPT)Left Box click (Standard port types)Right Box click Communications PortClick NextClick Next againClick FinishRestart your machine and the error message should no longer appear.
