hi. this my first post so apologies for any noobishness! to be honest i'm not even sure if this is the right place to ask for help!!

recently, every time i start my PC i have a window pop up telling me "capi_worker module has encountered a problem and needs to close" (see picture).

i have no idea what a capi worker module is or what to do about this. it doesnt seem to have had a detrimental affect on my PC but i would still like to try to fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If so ....................... this is supposed to cure the problem (I haven't any way of testing it myself)

Go to Control Panel.

Click Add Hardware

Click Next

Click Yes, I have already connected the hardware

Scroll to the bottom of the list

Click Add a new hardware device

Click Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)

Click Ports (Com & LPT)

Left Box click (Standard port types)

Right Box click Communications Port

Click Next

Click Next again

Click Finish

Restart your machine and the error message should no longer appear.
