As of this morning everything I run crashes after a few minutes, all games, IE, etc

I get the standard error message ('random programme' has encountered a problem and needs to close) followed by DrWatson has encountered.....etc etc.......then I get kicked to the desktop.

Nothing new was installed.

My system is

AMD 6000 Dual Core (3ghz)

NVidia GeForce 7300GS

2ghz Corsair 800

External SB Live

Win XP Pro SP2

My CPU temp is 45oC

I've checked for viruses, nothing

Any suggestions?

I've looked in event viewer although I don't know exactly what I am looking for.

I've only had the occasional error but today so far I've had 13 errors, but I think they're just the programme I've had running at the time of crash, rather than the cause.

I've run CHKDSK and I'm dl something atm to scan my reg

My CD Rewriter packed in last week and I haven't had a floppy drive in years so I've no way of creating a disc to check my RAM.

My 2 1gb sticks are only 2 weeks old.

I initially thought my PSU because I've had a couple of random restarts, unsure how to test it tho.

Many thanks
