thebeard
Hi there I am new to this forum and need some assistance.I run Windows XP sp2 and have Norton antivirus. I recently managed to get infrected by a Trojan Horse named dxmas.dll , When clicking on the link to the Symantec site it says removal is easy!!!! far from it. Norton cant delete it and it asks me to edit the Win.ini file and System.ini file and to delete any values added to the registry. I am unsure how to do this can anyone help please. :(

andsome
Unfortunately you are using one of the most invasive, and difficult to remove AV programs. It is also a resource gog. I agree with the recommedation by rong, A squared is a damned good anti Malware programs. If this does not work, sign up for the free trial of THIS, click here :D
