martigen
Is there a way to copy or transfer your "Favorites" link from Explorer from one computer to another but keeping the same order? i tried copying the Favorites folder and pasting it into the other computer but it automatically alphabetizes the links, i just want to have them the same way i have them on one computer without having to sort them out manually. Is there a better way to do it? martigen
Thanks for the link, one more question though, when i do the export, will it allow me to export the favs in the same order as i have them in my browser?
AlanHo
I recently built a new Vista computer and had the task of transferring all my data - including the favourites into IE7.I simply copied the old favourites from a backup file to the new favourites location. All the favourites were in the correct folders and sort order.I also use Firefox and imported the favourites there - in this case they all appeared - but in alphabetical order.
