Phate
I've setup a Windows 2003.net on a test network along with a NT 4.0 server. I've made the .Net server an AD controller. And then I've attempted to create a two-way trust between the two servers. But everytime I attempt to validate the trust it fails.Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be, am I just missing a brain cell or what?Is there a step by step guide I can go through, such as checking that the DNS is configured, make sure both PC's can see one another. etc etc etc.Help me please, I can't take anymore, no not really. Please help. :( ThanksPhate
Agent Smith
Hi again Phate, may I suggest that you visit the Microsoft Knowledgebase on this link, Click Here and download the migrating NT4 to 2003 Active Directory white paper (download the paper from HERE ).I have had a quick look through this paper, and I think it will contain all you need to know for this process.Regards. Mr. Mouse.PS. If you are still stuck, post back and I will ask some of the boys in the office if they know anything more, but it is not a process we have done, as we have a Novell network.
